My mission

My mission is to create an inclusive and empowering space for women to thrive and profit as creatrixes. I know how hard it is to get help when you're struggling to grow.

When I started my brand Age of Reason Studios 10 years ago the fashion and textiles industry was capricious and competitive. Hell, it was downright bitchy! But it doesn't have to be.

I’m passionate about collaboration over competition. I love seeing independent designers equipped to make money from their art.

My background

I‘m an independent print designer specialising in luxury home interiors goods and fashion accessories. My brand Age of Reason Studios is known for playful irreverent prints that champion women. Prior to starting the brand I worked as a music video director and animator for around nine years.

What makes me credible?

I have single-handedly built my brand Age of Reason Studios from scratch over 10 years with no formal fashion or business background. I’ve sold in Selfridges London, Liberty London, Galeries Lafaette Beijing, Harvey Nichols, Amara living, Rocketts St George and numerous independent boutiques.

I've proven that designers can call the shots, be selective about who they stock, have fun and still be nice people. Making money and art aren't mutually exclusive.

What's my profile?

I’ve been featured in publications like Vogue Online, Stylist Magazine, Stella Magazine, The Independent, Telegraph Homes, Womenswear Buyer, Drapers Magazine, Marie Claire, Grazia and Architectural Digest. My designs have been used by Alek Wek, Claudia Schiffer, Laura Mvula, Jo Whiley and Joanna Lumley.

I’ve been invited to 10 Downing Street to represent British designers on behalf of Save the Children UK. I’ve worked with Amnesty International to raise money for women’s rights defenders. I have a collective, engaged online following of around 30,000 people across my channels and I’ve never bought a follower.
